This hand cream is not what you'd expect it to be, on first application it feels extremely greasy and thick, then it dissolves leaving your hands really moisturised with a slight coating which fades after a while. It has a nice fragrance too nothing overbearing...it smells like shea butter mixed with something else..? As you may know, when trying out a new product I often go by the packaging and that's what I did with this hand cream. It was shiny and silver and had  me at Shea Butter. I'm easily drawn to shiny things. ( surprise surprise Lol )

Believe it or not I picked up this little bargain for £1.00 ( 50g ) from Savers. It's my new handbag hand cream...I take it everywhere! Hands down this is one of the best hand creams I've used for the price, it would make a great winter hand cream. A little goes a long way so you don't need many applications. It keeps your hands feeling moisturised for a while. I've never tried the L'occitane hand cream but I think it may be comparable as the packaging looks similar and they seem to have similar ingredients.
